Professional Experience
Houyou joined the group in Spring 2026 as a Ph.D. student. He conducted his undergraduate research in Dr. Feng Liu’s group, where he initially focused on the organic synthesis of non-fullerene acceptors. During his senior year, under the guidance of Dr. Cheng Zhong, his research interests transitioned to theoretical chemistry, specifically the computational simulation of organic optoelectronic materials. Currently, his research interests lie broadly in theoretical and computational chemistry, alongside a strong enthusiasm for hardware acceleration in scientific computing. Outside the lab, Houyou enjoys hiking and photography—though he admits to having a lot of photos waiting to be edited.
