Mia Pancioli is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma pursuing a B.Sc. in Chemical Biosciences. She plans to apply to medical school after graduation and is currently gaining her first research experience in the Tkachenko Lab. Her project focuses on enantioselective catalysis, where she uses density functional theory to computationally design improved chiral catalysts for asymmetric hydrogenation reactions.
